Each of these types of dishwashers have a different type of error code which are listed and explained below in order.
Fully integrated dishwashers with display
Error Code | Fault Description |
---|---|
E2 | Overfill detected |
E3 | Not heating |
E4 | Thermistor disconnected or o/c |
E5 | No water fill |
E6 | Heating detected with no water present |
E7 | Not draining |
E8 | Read error, rest and try again |
E9 | Pause in test programme, not a fault code |
LED Display Dishwashers
Error Code | Fault Description |

E1 1st flashing, 5th lit | Flood protection system activated |
E2 2nd flashing, 5th lit | Safety pressure switch activated |
E3 1st, 2nd flashing, 5th lit | No heat in the time allowed |
E4 3rd flashing, 5th lit | Temperature sensor fault |
E5 1st, 3rd flashing, 5th lit | No fill |
E6 2nd, 3rd flashing, 5th lit | No drain in the time allowed |
E7 1st, 2nd, 3rd flashing | Flowmeter detected when not fitted reset required |
E9 | Same code as E1 |
3 Button with LCD Display Dishwashers
Error Code | Explanation |
---|---|
E1 | Overfill detected This will abort the current program |
E2 | Water level. This will abort the current program |
E3 | Not heating. This will abort the current program |
E4 | Temperature probe of thermostat failure |
E5 | No fill. This will not cause the machine to halt. To reset, open and close the door or press start. |
E7 | No drain This will not cause the machine to halt. To reset, open and close the door or press start. |
E9 | Same as E2 |
